What do I need to know before making my reservation?
Reservations are not required, but are encouraged, because it is the only way to guarantee equipment will be available for your trip.
Weekends and holidays are generally completely booked. If you would like to visit us during these periods, we strongly recommend making a reservation at least one week in advice.
Reservations can only be made over the phone at this time. Call (434) 286-2338 between 8AM and 6PM EST.
Reservations require a credit card.
It is important to call for a river report, and to re-confirm your reservations THREE days in advance. We cannot stress this enough.
What is your cancelation policy?
Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance to receive no penalty. Last minute cancellations or “no shows” will be charged for what they have reserved. Please read the full cancellation policy on the Policy/FAQ page
What do I need to know about taking a group?
When you have 25 or more people you are considered a large group and must follow group policy. One reservation for large groups required. We will not accept individual payments and/or reservations within the large group.
Call three days before your trip to check river conditions and confirm your reservation. You will need a firm head count at this time and will then be held accountable for that number.
BE SURE YOUR WHOLE GROUP IS AWARE OF THE POLICIES
*Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled depart time.
*No pets, styrofoam coolers, or glass
*No drugs or open alcohol
*All participants are required to be ABLE TO SWIM
*All participants must wear appropriate footwear (ie: tennis shoes, aqua socks, etc. NO flip-flops)
*All participants are REQUIRED to be off river by 6PM
