Take a relaxing trip down the James River
Tubing is the easiest, most relaxing river trip we offer. Suitable for ages 6 and older, tubing the river doesn’t require any river experience or training beyond basic swimming skills.

Our tubing trips include several areas suitable for picnicking, rock hunting, or just exploring. “Rock Island” is located in this section of river along with other sand bars and islands.
Solo or Group Activity
You don’t have to be in a group to go tubing. It’s a great way to relax, work on your tan, or just enjoy a day with nature; however tubing a great group activity. It makes a great date activity, family outing, or large group event.
Important information for your tubing adventure
All tube trips depart on the half hour between 10:00AM and 2:30PM (hourly on weekdays). If river levels are below 3.2 feet, the last trip will go out at 1:30PM.
**All participants MUST be off river and checked in by 6PM sharp…expensive late charges apply after 6PM.** Vehicles left after 7PM will be subject to TOWING AT OWNER’S EXPENSE.
Our 3 mile river tube trips winds through beautiful rural countryside, and has a nice set of novice rapids. The trip lasts 2-4 hours, depending on river conditions and your activity on the tube.
After a short safety briefing we bus your party upstream from our location to the launch area. You then float down the James back to where your car is parked.
No jumping or diving on any trip. All participants much be capable swimmers. We do not shuttle your personal inflatable tube or cooler tube. You must rent our equipment to get a shuttle.
We do not offer services, shuttles or parking for those who have their own inner tube.
